3 Days Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale NP

Day 1

Drive west via Mityana to Fort Portal,through a lush countryside and traditional homesteads and farms. The journey offers panoramic view of the “Mountains of the Moon,”. You will reach in the afternoon and you can go for a walk in the communities if you want. Overnight at the tree house at kanyankyu ecological centre (Budget) or Ndali Safari Lodge (Luxury) .

Day 2

Go for an early morning forest walk in search for  primates like chimpanzees,black and white Colobus, Red-Colobuses, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabeys oscillating through the forest pottos, birds, butterflies and many small insects. You will be provided with explanations on both fauna and flora to make your walk informative and interesting. Have a quick lunch, proceed to Bigodi swamp eco tourism site that is amazing to checkout rare and gorgeous flora and fauna. Overnight at the tree house at kanyankyu ecological centre (Budget) or Ndali Safari Lodge (Luxury)

Day 3

Early in the morning go to the crater lakes region to check out the craters before you proceed to Kampala .You will have a lunch stop and proceed to reach in the afternoon. Overnight at Sheraton Hotel / Serena Hotel .
